New SDOUG Web Site

This user group now has a brand-new Web site, built from the ground up using Drupal, by Web developer Michael J. Ross (SDOUG's webmaster). The site is kindly hosted by SDOUG vice president Sean Scott of Argentive.

There were several reasons that prompted this effort. While the old site was adequate for the group's needs, it was based upon the old CMS Mambo, which suffers from all of the problems found in its successor, Joomla. Also, the previous site was in need of a facelift after years of an unchanging style. Lastly, it was a good excuse to learn more about Drupal and its capabilities!
